Maple Pecan Granola Bars

Ingredients

  • 100g rolled oats
  • 100g Just Live a Little Maple & Toasted Pecan Granola
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 120g almond butter
  • 120ml maple syrup
  • 40g dark chocolate chips
  • 40g pecans (lightly crushed)

Cooking time: 2hours
Serves: 8

Method

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, Just Live a Little granola, chia seeds, dark chocolate chips and pecans.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Warm almond butter and maple syrup gently in a small pan until smooth and runny. Pour over dry mix.
  3. Combine: Stir with a wooden spoon until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Set: Transfer mixture to a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Press down firmly and evenly into a flat layer.
  5. Chill & cut: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until firm, then cut into ~8 bars with a sharp knife.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
